There are Staffing Shortages in both Field and Institution which have lead to County HR moving to continuous hiring for CSO and DPO. Tasers have been issued to all Field officers. Rescued Dog Training program has begun within the Juv. Facilities. A "cease and desist" order that gained us access to the policy in progress (program implemented without meet and confer or without a policy in place. Therapy Horses are now in our facility (no meet and confer county council and management hold that it is not a change in working conditions.) Juvenile Field Vacation requests (new, not seniority bid) are on hold until Sept. 10th. Shift switch rules have been loosened.
